Human Tic-Tac-Toe is a super fun Scripture Mastery game I saw at one stake’s Scripture Mastery Bowl last year.  Click on the picture to download a paper that has the instructions and a diagram.
Now that your class is getting familiar with the Scripture Masteries, you can start to play games.  It's the beginning of the year so they may need their bookmarks to help, but try to wean them off of the bookmark as soon as possible.   Perhaps instead of working with all 25, you could work with the first 8 or 12 mastery verses.

Just two questions regarding your human tic tac toe~ That looks so fun!
Question 1 - Once a student sits down into the human tic tac toe board they don't have to stay there? How & when do they have the option to move?
Question 2 - When the one of three that gets it first do his/her remaining two team-mates go to the end of the line?
Thanks

I've played a similar game with my class - only we let all of the participants on the teams go to the grid as they find the scripture.. if we've got a big group we play tic-tac-toe 4 or 5 in a row.
